MEDITATION SCRIPT
— “Hearing God in the Night”
A 10–12 minute guided meditation
“Be still and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10
Begin by finding a quiet place. Sit comfortably. Close your eyes. Take a slow breath in… and release it. Let your mind settle. Let your spirit open.
Breathe again—deeply, slowly. With every exhale, release the noise of the day. With every inhale, welcome the presence of God.
Now pray softly in your heart:
“Speak, Lord. Your servant is listening.”
Feel the peace of God settling over you like a warm covering. Feel the nearness of the Holy Spirit—gentle, steady, present.
As you breathe, imagine the light of God filling your mind. Every anxious thought grows quiet. Every distraction fades. Your spirit becomes attentive.
Now listen.
God speaks in stillness. God whispers in the night. God reveals Himself to those who wait on Him.
Let these words watch over you:
“My sheep hear My voice.” “I will instruct you and teach you.” “I am with you always.”
If a scripture rises in your heart, receive it. If an image appears in your mind, notice it. If a word or phrase emerges, hold it gently.
Do not force. Do not analyze. Simply receive.
Now pray:
“Lord, what are You revealing to me tonight?”
Pause. Listen. Let God speak in His way, in His time.
As the meditation closes, whisper:
“Thank You, Lord, for speaking. Thank You for guiding. Thank You for calling me.”
Take one more deep breath. When you are ready, open your eyes— carrying the peace of God with you.
